The Transatlantic Slavery and Legacies in Museums Forum is delighted to announce that they will be hosting a Symposium at the Museum of Liverpool. The symposium will span two days (20 - 21 November) with the second day being a half-day, facilitated by cultural changemaker and founder of Museum X, Sandra Shakespeare, with a keynote speech from journalist and author Gary Younge. In previous workshops, the forum has analysed and critiqued the 2007 bicentenary commemorations and is now beginning to look forward to the bicentenaries of the 2030s.
